MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Circa 432-348 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 14 mm, 2.31 g, 12 h), Olynthos, Olympichos, magistrate, circa 352/1. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. X-A-Λ-KIΔ-EΩN Kithara with six strings; below, ΕΠΙ OΛYMΠΙXΟΣ. HGC 3.1, 505. Robinson & Clement 110 (A73/P76). SNG ANS 539. A lovely example with beautiful iridescent toning and of fine style. Slightly granular, otherwise, good very fine.
